Urban Design Project of Selimiye Mosque Environment is a religious building in Edirne designed by Beril Serbes Architects, completed in 2022. Stone in religious architecture carries weight beyond durability — it is chosen to feel permanent and unhurried, which is a different brief than almost anything else in this archive. To be clear: this is not a DIJA project, and we did not supply the material — it is included here purely as a documented reference.

Here is what the source material lists, application by application: landscape design: granite | bilecik; floor covering, bordure: travertine | afyonkarahi̇sar.

For granite | bilecik, we do not carry that exact quarry block, but a very close relative is Black Galaxy Granite. For travertine | afyonkarahi̇sar, the specified stone is one we stock directly: Afyon White (Sugar).
