S2osb Mosque | Binaa is a religious building in Hendek, Sakarya / Turkey designed by BINAA - Building Innovation Arts Architecture & EPAS, completed in 2020. Stone in religious architecture carries weight beyond durability — it is chosen to feel permanent and unhurried, which is a different brief than almost anything else in this archive. To be clear: this is not a DIJA project, and we did not supply the material — it is included here purely as a documented reference.
This is one of the projects where the published material list is thin. The architecture is well documented; the stone specification is not.
