Lucien Arkas art Gallery is a cultural building in Urla, İzmir, Türkiye by Artı3 Mimarlık, from 2019. Museums and cultural centers are where stone specification gets conservative in a good way — the material is chosen to outlast the exhibitions it houses. To be clear: this is not a DIJA project, and we did not supply the material — it is included here purely as a documented reference.
The published record specifies the following material use: facades:: limestone (demre, antalya); platform floors and stairs:: marble (şakirkarağaç, isparta).
For limestone (demre, antalya), we do not carry that exact quarry block, but a very close relative is Pietra Leccese. For marble (şakirkarağaç, isparta), the nearest equivalent we stock is Calacatta Oro.
