Lamartine Hotel Taksim | Designist is a hospitality project in Taksim, Istanbul by Interior Architecture Project and Application: Designist, opened in 2021. Hotels put stone through a harder test than almost any other building type — hundreds of strangers a week, housekeeping chemicals, and a design that has to still read as luxury in year eight. To be clear: this is not a DIJA project, and we did not supply the material — it is included here purely as a documented reference.
According to the project's own documentation, the stone breakdown was: ground: lycia beige, tundura gray marble / afyon, burdur, isparta; reception bank: nero picasso marble / kirşehi̇r; breakfast room walls: pietra grey marble.
For lycia beige, tundura gray marble / afyon, burdur, isparta, the specified stone is one we stock directly: Burdur Beige. For nero picasso marble / kirşehi̇r, the closest thing we sell to it is Calacatta Oro. For pietra grey marble, we carry the exact stone specified: Pietra Leccese.
