Baruthane | per se Architecture, in Bakırköy, Istanbul, was designed by Per Se Architecture and completed in 2023. It is one of the wider set of Turkish architecture projects we have been cataloguing for what they reveal about real-world stone specification. To be clear: this is not a DIJA project, and we did not supply the material — it is included here purely as a documented reference.
This is one of the projects where the published material list is thin. The architecture is well documented; the stone specification is not.
With no documented stone type to go on, a few general suggestions from our own range that would suit a project of this kind: Calacatta Oro.
The original project write-up, with full photography and credits, is linked below — we do not reproduce it here, only the facts.
